-2 - <br />mare, cow, burro, jack, jenny, mule, goat, kid, horse, or <br />similar animal in the City except as follows: <br />1. In an R -E, M-1, or M-2 zo <br />thereof of three or less <br />kept at least one hundred <br />used for human residence. <br />2. In an A zone. <br />ne to keep a total combination <br />and providing all of them are <br />feet from any house built or <br />B. Even those animals which are permitted by this section may not <br />be allowed if the Development Review Committee finds that said <br />animals create an unsanitary condition or nuisance. <br />C. Variation from the above conditions may be approved by the <br />Development Review Committee. All approvals must be made in <br />conformance to the provisions of Section 18.12.160 of the City <br />of Colton Zoning Ordinance. <br />7.04.030 Appropriate and sanitary housing required. <br />Notwithstanding anything to the contrary contained herein, no person, <br />firm, or corporation shall keep any kind of animal, as mentioned herein, <br />or otherwise, without housing the same in an appropriate coop, barn, <br />building, or other enclosure approved by the Planning Director or such <br />other qualified person as the City Council shall designate, so as the <br />same may be safe, sanitary and appropriate for the purpose intended and <br />so as not to cause an unsanitary or unhealthy condition or create a <br />nuisance. The coop, barn, building, or enclosure shall be kept in a <br />sanitary condition at all times and not be permitted to accumulate <br />refuse, rubbish, manure, or other unsanitary materials. (Ord. 689 <br />(part), 1946). <br />7.04.040 Penalty for violations <br />Any person, firm, or corporation violating any of the provisions of <br />this Chapter is guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof <br />shall be punishable by a fine of not more than five hundred dollars, <br />or by imprisonment in the county jail for a period of not more than <br />six months, or by both such fine and imprisonment. (Ord. 689 (part), <br />1946). <br />7.04.050 Requirements under Title 18 <br />Nothing in this Chapter shall prohibit any use expressly authorized <br />or permitted pursuant to Title 18 of this Code. <br />EXHIBIT "A" <br />Page 2 of 2 <br />
