ORDINANCE NO. 0-10-86 <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON <br />APPROVING AND ADOPTING A REDEVELOPMENT PLAN FOR THE <br />WEST VALLEY REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT AS THE OFFICIAL <br />REDEVELOPMENT PLAN FOR SAID PROJECT <br />WHEREAS, the Redevelopment Agency for the City of Colton (the "Agency") <br />has formulated, prepared and approved a proposed Redevelopment Plan for the West <br />Valley Redevelopment Project (the "Redevelopment Plan") and has recommended <br />that the City Council of the City of Colton approve and adopt said <br />Redevelopment Plan; and <br />WHEREAS, said Redevelopment Plan has been prepared pursuant to California <br />Community Redevelopment Law (Health and Safety Code Sections 33000 et seg.); <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Colton has submitted its <br />report and recommendation on the proposed Redevelopment Plan, finding that the <br />proposed Redevelopment Plan is in conformity with the Colton General Plan, and <br />has recommended approval of the proposed Redevelopment Plan; and <br />WHEREAS, the Agency has adopted Rules Governing Participation and <br />Preference by Property Owners, Operators of Businesses and Tenants for the West <br />Valley Redevelopment Project, which document meets the requirements of <br />California Community Redevelopment Law; and <br />WHEREAS, the Agency has adopted the Relocation Plan for the West Valley <br />Redevelopment Project, providing for the relocation of persons, families and <br />businesses from the Project Area, the payment of relocation benefits and the giving <br />of relocation assistance to such persons, families and businesses, which document <br />meets the requirements of California Community Redevelopment Law; and <br />WHEREAS, the Agency has submitted the proposed Redevelopment Plan and its <br />Report thereon (pursuant to Section 33352 of the Health and Safety Code) to the <br />City Council, which Report contains, among other things, the Planning <br />1 <br />
