<br />INA DWELLING UNIT.
<br />The City Council of the Ci.
<br />ty of Colton ordains:
<br />The number of dogs and
<br />cats that may bs kept In any
<br />one dwelling unit or on any
<br />parcel of land used as a
<br />single family dwelling unit is
<br />limitedas follows:
<br />It Is unlawful to keep
<br />more than six dogs, or
<br />more than six cats, or a
<br />combination of dogs and
<br />cats that total more than
<br />six.
<br />Dogs or cats less than
<br />six months of age shall
<br />not be counted In deter.
<br />mining the number kept
<br />In a dwelling unit.
<br />This ordinance shall not
<br />apply to premises where the
<br />City Planning Commission
<br />has Issued a Conditional Use
<br />Permit pursuant to Colton
<br />Municipal Code Title 18
<br />(Zoning) and by such permit
<br />the premises are authorized
<br />for use as and for animal
<br />boarding, animal grooming,
<br />animal health care, or
<br />animal keeping (heavy or
<br />light).
<br />Violation of this ordinance
<br />shall be an infraction
<br />punishable as provided by
<br />law.
<br />This ordinance shall be ef.
<br />fective three months after
<br />Its adoption.
