IMPLEMENTATION <br />Suitable prc ?ect:= may be referred i"+_„+ he Director of <br />`ommunit,,. Development Department hereafter called The <br />Director,” to the p=ity Architect for design review. Such <br />review shall be at the expense of the applicart a _o <br />payment of the fee of the Cites Architect. <br />i.,,lhen _,o referred, the Director shall furnish -he City <br />Architect with the applicant's plans and with a request <br />for review thereof 3e to exterior design. <br />Thereupon the City architect shall promptly make such a <br />review ,and respond in writing to the Director with <br />recommendations, if any. <br />Prior to transmitting the request to the _ity Architect, <br />the Director shall notiVy the applicant of the pending <br />review by tie City Architect ,and of the required fee'.. <br />The applicant shall deposit with the: cit.; the <br />appropriate fee. Thereupon the request shall be made to <br />the Citi. Architect. The deposit shall he made within <br />thirty ( iii) days of a written demand therefore. Failure <br />to pay shall be ground- for denial of the application. <br />Unless paid, there shall be no request for review by the <br />City Architect. <br />-3- <br />
