Words used in this ordinance in the present tense <br />include the future; words used in the masculine gender <br />include the feminine and neuter; and the singular number <br />include the plural, and the plural, the singular. <br />SECTION II. PERMIT REQUIRED. It shall be unlawful to <br />operate a taxicab, as herein defined, upon any street within the <br />City of Colton without having obtained a permit to do so in <br />accordance with the provisions hereof. <br />SECTION III. PERMIT APPLICATION PROCEDURE. <br />A. Any carrier desiring to operate a taxicab shall file <br />a petition therefore with the City Clerk. Such petition <br />shall be duly verified. Said petition shall set forth <br />the following information: <br />1. Name, age, and address of the petitioner, if a <br />natural person, or if a corporation, its name, date <br />and place of incorporation, address of its <br />principal place of business, and the name of all <br />of its officers together with their respective <br />residence addresses; or if a partnership, <br />association or unincorporated company, then the <br />names of the partners or persons comprising the <br />partnership, association or company, together with <br />their respective ages and residence addresses. <br />2.
