1 <br />2 <br />3 <br />4 <br />5 <br />6 <br />7 <br />8 <br />9 <br />10 <br />11 <br />12 <br />13 <br />14 <br />15 <br />16 <br />17 <br />18 <br />19 <br />20 <br />21 <br />22 <br />23 <br />24 <br />25 <br />26 <br />27 <br />28 <br />ORDINANCE NO. 0-23-88 <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF COLTON ADDING TO THE UNIFORM TRAFFIC <br />ORDINANCE PROVIDING NO PARKING AREAS <br />The City Council of the City of Colton, California, ordains: <br />There is added to the Municipal Code of Colton Section 10.04.075 <br />as follovas : <br />There is adopted a Section to be numbered 9.3 (h) which section <br />is to be a part of the Uniform Traffic Ordinance adopted by reference in <br />Section 10.04.010, hereof to read as follows: <br />Section 9.3 No Parking Areas <br />(L) Parking a motor vehicle, so as to be visible from the public <br />right of way, is prohibited on the front yard or side yard of residential <br />property except as follows: <br />(1) in a garage or carport, (2) in the driveway connecting a gc-3rage <br />or carport with the adjacent street, (3) on property without off-street <br />parking iL--i a garage, carport or driveway for at least two vehicles, where <br />the residence fronts on a street, the paved portion of which is less than <br />thirty-two feet wide, (4) recreational vehicles, including motorhomes, pickups <br />with campers, may be parked in side yards. <br />SECTION TWO <br />This ordinance shall take effect thirty days after its adoption. <br />Adopted August 16 , 1_988. <br />ATTEST: <br />Helen A.
