1 <br />2 <br />3 <br />4 <br />5 <br />6 <br />7 <br />8 <br />9 <br />10 <br />11 <br />12 <br />13 <br />14 <br />15 <br />16 <br />17 <br />18 <br />19 <br />20 <br />21 <br />22 <br />23 <br />24 <br />25 <br />26 <br />27 <br />28 <br />SECTION THREE Permits withheld or suspended. <br />No building permit or occupancV permit shall be issued when the <br />City Council or a properlV deleqated authoritV gives notice to the <br />Buildinq Official to withhold or suspend the same, where it is <br />deemed to be in the public interest for protection of public <br />health, safetV or qeneral welfare including noncompliance bV the <br />applicant with any laws, contracts, or agreements with the CitV or <br />its Planninq Commission, or improper land use or failure to <br />complete anV conditions set forth by said City of its Planning <br />Commission, provided however the permit shall be released after <br />approved corrective action bV the applicant or permittee. <br />SECTION FOUR Property Access. <br />Before anV Buildinq permit is granted, except as required bV law, <br />the Community Development Director, shall determine that the site, <br />lot or parcel in question has adequate frontage upon a dedicated <br />public street, adequate for purposes of access, includinq access <br />for emergencV vehicles, proper utility service, adequate drainage, <br />complies with the Subdivision Ordinance of the CitV, and further <br />that the proposed use and/or construction is in compliance with <br />all other ordinances and laws includinq the General Plan and anV <br />Specific Plan of the City of Colton. <br />—3— <br />
