R-101-21 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO <br />GRANT DEEDS CONVEYING EASEMENTS UPON PARCELS OF CITY -OWNED REAL ESTATE FOR <br />PRIVATE STORM DRAIN PURPOSES <br />WHEREAS, the owners of the property at 627 W. Agua Mansa Road wish to obtain an <br />easement upon city owned real estate for private storm drain purposes; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Colton has previously approved an Easement for Storm Drain <br />purposes; and <br />WHEREAS, granting of said easement has a negligible fiscal impact to the City; and <br />WHEREAS, the previously approved Easement for Storm Drain purposes identified as <br />recorded DOC # 2020-0496917 is to be quitclaimed as it is no longer needed. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, IT BE RESOLVED the City Council of the City of Colton, California, as <br />follows: <br />SECTION 1. Authorization. The Mayor of the City of Colton is hereby authorized to <br />execute grant deeds and an Easement Agreement, copies of which are attached hereto, <br />conveying an easement upon certain City of Colton real property to the owners of the property <br />located at 627 W. Agua Mansa Road for private storm drain purposes after the final storm drain <br />alignment has been determined by the City Engineer. <br />SECTION 2. Quitclaim. Quitclaim of a Grant of Easement for Storm Drain purposes <br />identified as DOC # 2020-0496917 is accepted. <br />SECTION 4. City Staff is hereby authorized to take all necessary actions to effectuate the <br />attached grant deeds and Easement Agreement, including, but not limited to, causing them to be <br />recorded with the office of the San Bernardino County Recorder. <br />SECTION 3.
