1 <br />2 <br />3 <br />4 <br />5 <br />6 <br />7 <br />8 <br />9 <br />10 <br />11 <br />12 <br />13 <br />14 <br />15 <br />16 <br />17 <br />18 <br />19 <br />20 <br />21 <br />22 <br />23 <br />24 <br />25 <br />26 <br />27 <br />28 <br />18.38.011 DEFINITIONS. <br />For the purposes of this chapter, unless otherwise <br />apparent from the context, phrases used in this chapter <br />are defined as follows: <br />(a) "Abandoned vehicle" shall be a vehicle which is <br />located on public or private property without the <br />express or implied consent of the property owner or <br />person in lawful possession or control of the <br />property. <br />(b) "Administrative Board" shall be a body appointed by <br />the City Manager to hear appeals under this chapter <br />and shall consist of the Development Review <br />Commmittee. <br />(c) "CDD" shall be the Community Development Department. <br />(d) "City" shall mean City of Colton or its contractor. <br />(e) "Director" shall be the Director of the Department <br />of Community Development. <br />(f) "Dismantled" shall mean that intregal component <br />parts necessary to operate the vehicle on a highway, <br />roadway or public street have been removed from the <br />vehicle. <br />(g) "Fee" shall be any amount of money charged, fined, <br />or paid to Community .Development Department relating <br />to the administrative and/or enforcement costs <br />incurred for the purpose of enforcing this chapter. <br />3 <br />
