ORDINANCE NO. 0-15-90 <br />2 <br />3 <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF COLTON AMENDING CHAPTER 3.28 OF TITLE 3 <br />4 OF THE COLTON MUNICIPAL CODE TO GRANT CREDITS AGAINST SALES AND USE <br />5 TAXES OWED TO THE CITY OF COLTON IN THE AMOUNT OF SALES AND USE <br />6 TAXES PAID, IF ANY, TO THE COLTON REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY, AND TO <br />7 REPEAL SECTION 3.28.137 OF CHAPTER 3.28 OF TITLE 3 OF THE COLTON <br />8 MUNICIPAL CODE <br />9 <br />10 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br />11 SECTION 1: Chapter 3.28 of Title 3 of the Colton Municipal <br />12 Code is hereby amended by adding a new Section 3.28.138 to read <br />13 as follows: <br />14 "3.28.138 - Credit Against Payment of Taxes. <br />15 Any retailer or consumer subject to a sales or use tax <br />16 under this chapter shall be granted a credit against the <br />17 payment of tax owed under this chapter in the amount of <br />18 sales or use tax paid, if any, to the Redevelopment Agenc) <br />19 for the City of Colton pursuant to the 'Colton <br />20 Redevelopment Agency Sales and Use Tax Ordinance <br />21 Portion of Cooley Ranch, Project Number 4,1 as enacted by <br />22 Redevelopment Agency for the City of Colton Ordinance No. <br />23 RDA -2-90-11 <br />24 <br />25 <br />26 <br />27 <br />28 <br />SECTION 2: The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of <br />this ordinance and shall cause the same to be published once in a <br />newspaper of general circulation, printed and published in the <br />County of San Bernardino and circulated in the City of Colton, such <br />publication to be completed not later than fifteen (15) days after <br />
