directly related thereto and a proportionate amount of City general administrative overhead related <br />thereto, any amounts paid by the City from its general funds, and all other costs and expenses of the <br />City or the Fiscal Agent incurred in connection with the discharge of their respective duties under the <br />District and, in the case of the City, in any way related to administration of the District. <br />The Bonds means the Community Facilities District No. 90-1 (Mount Vernon Corridor) of the City <br />of Colton 1990 Special Tax Bonds and any other bonds of the District payable from the Special Tax. <br />City means the City of Colton, California. <br />Debt Service is the total annual principal, interest and redemption payment on the Bonds, less <br />investment earnings on the Reserve Fund available for that purpose and not required to be set aside in <br />a rebate account pursuant to the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 or any successor code or statute, and <br />less any capitalized interest and any other amounts remaining in the debt service funds and accounts <br />held by the Fiscal Agent for the previous fiscal year with the exception of the Reserve Fund. <br />District is the Community Facilities District No. 90-1 (Mount Vernon Corridor) of the City of <br />Colton. <br />Fiscal Agent means the registrar, paying agent and transfer agent for the Bonds appointed under <br />the Indenture. <br />Fiscal Year means the period starting on July 1 and ending the following June 30. <br />Improvements are the public improvements designated in the Resolution of Formation to be <br />constructed by the District. Improvements in a Tax Rate Area are those public improvements <br />designated to be constructed in relation to such Tax Rate Area. Such improvements are not required <br />to be located within such Tax Rate Area. <br />Indenture means the agreement by that name (or any other name) approved by the Resolution of <br />Issuance pursuant to which the Bonds are issued. <br />Parcel is the Assessor's parcels that are within the boundaries of the District based on the equalized <br />rolls of the County of San Bernardino as of March 1 of each year which is not exempt from the Special <br />Tax pursuant to Section 53311, et seq., of the California Government Code. <br />Reserve Fund is the reserve fund for the Bonds created under the Indenture. <br />Resolution of Issuance is any Resolution adopted by the City authorizing the issuance of Bonds to <br />be secured by the levy of a Special Tax within the District. <br />Special Tax is any tax authorized by Section 53340 of the California Government Code adopted by <br />Ordinance of the City and levied within the District. <br />Tax Rate Area means any area designated as a tax rate area as shown on Community Facilities <br />District No. 90-1 (Mount Vernon Corridor) City of Colton Boundary Map. <br />Taxable Square Footage is all of the area within the boundaries of the District which is not <br />exempt from the Special Tax pursuant to Section 53311, et. seq., of the California Government Code. <br />Total Taxable Square Footage of TRA means the aggregate Taxable Square Footage of each <br />Parcel in a Tax Rate Area. <br />A-3 <br />
