ADDING SECTION 18.12.158 <br />TO CREATE THE RECHE CANYON SPECIFIC PLAN KNOWN AS <br />FILE NUMBER D-60-90. AN ORDINANCE ALSO APPROVING <br />OF. AND ACCEPTING AS COMPLETE. THE RECHE CANYON <br />ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT REPORT. <br />WHEREAS. the City of Colton City Council has held a public <br />hearina as required by law to consider the Reche Canyon Specific <br />Plan; and <br />WHEREAS. the City has commissioned the creation of the <br />Specific Plan in order to provide for the orderly. aesthetic <br />develooment of Reche Canyon; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has found the Specific Plan to <br />further the coals of the City and to benefit the Canyon <br />Residents; and <br />WHEREAS. the orooerty known as Tentative Tract 12201 will be <br />considered under its present zoning; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council does make the following findings: <br />1) The Plan is consistent with the City of Colton <br />General Plan adopted in 1987. <br />2) The Plan is compatible to surrounding Cities' <br />General Plan. <br />3) The Plan does not substantially amend the <br />Colton General Plan. <br />4) All comments have been given due consideration. <br />5) The Plan furthers the City's commitment to <br />maintain a high quality life style. protect <br />property values, provide for the health and <br />safety of its residents and,promote quality <br />
