Each and every day, or portion thereof, <br />during which any such violation is committed, continued, or permitted, is a <br />separate offense. Any such violation shall be punishable by a fine of not <br />more than $1,000.00, or by imprisonment of not more than one hundred and <br />twenty (120) days, or by both such fine and imprisonment. <br />SECTION NINE <br />The Director of Community Development is designated as the "Building <br />official" as described in the codes and shall authorize to exercise all powers <br />and responsibilities of that position. <br />SECTION TEN <br />Permits may be issued to: <br />(A) Persons holding a valid license issued by State of California State <br />Contractor's License Board, related to the speciality of the work <br />being performed; or <br />(B) Persons providing bona fide proof of ownership of the property and <br />building for which the permit is being issued or their authorized <br />representative. <br />SECTION ELEVEN <br />One complete copy of these said Rules and Regulations, which regulate the <br />erection, construction, enlargement, alteration, repair, moving, removal, <br />conversion, demolition, occupancy, equipment use, height area, and maintenance <br />of building or structures and the installation and maintenance of heating, <br />ventilating, refrigeration, and related systems in the City of Colton shall be <br />- 6 - <br />
