A new Chapter 2.43 is added to the Colton <br />Municipal Code to read as follows: <br />"Chapter 2.43 <br />COMMUNITY FACILITIES DISTRICT COMMISSION <br />Sections: <br />2.43.010 Created. <br />2.43.020 Members --Appointment and Term. <br />2.43.030 Chairman and Officers' Appointment --Secretary. <br />2.43.040 Staff Liaison --Finance Director. <br />2.43.050 Powers and Duties. <br />2.43.010 Created. A Community Facilities <br />Commission is created for the City. <br />2.43.020 Members --Appointment and Term. The <br />appointment and term of Commission members shall be as <br />provided in Chapter 2.30 of this Code. <br />2.43.030 Chairman and Officers' Appointment -- <br />Secretary. Members of the Commission shall organize and <br />choose one of their members as its chairman and elect any <br />other officers that they deem necessary. A secretary and <br />other assistants need not necessarily be members of the <br />commission. <br />2.43.040 Staff Liaison --Finance Director. The <br />Finance Director of the City shall act as Staff Liaison <br />to the Commission. <br />2.43.050. Powers and Duties. The Community <br />Facilities Commission shall have the power and duty to: <br />(a) Recommend policies along with other <br />commissions to the City Council for the <br />development and implementation of new <br />community facilities districts within the <br />City. <br />oc <br />
