Elective officers; <br />B. Members of appointive boards, commissions and committees; <br />C. Persons engaged under contract to supply expert technical or professional <br />services fos, a definite period of time; <br />D. Volunteer personnel, such as volunteer firefighters and police reserves, <br />who receive no regular compensation from the city; <br />E. The positions of City Manager and City Attorney; <br />F. All department heads who voluntarily waive any entitlement to coverage <br />under this chapter or who are hired after the effective date of this <br />ordinance; <br />G. Part-time and temporary, hourly paid employees. <br />
