1 <br />2 <br />3 <br />4 <br />5 <br />6 <br />7 <br />8 <br />9 <br />10 <br />11 <br />12 <br />13 <br />14 <br />15 <br />16 <br />17 <br />18 <br />19 <br />20 <br />21 <br />22 <br />23 <br />24 <br />25 <br />26 <br />27 <br />28 <br />ORDINANCE NO. 0 - 2 5 -96 <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />COLTON ADDING CHAPTER 2.06 TO THE COLTON <br />MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO CLOSED SESSION <br />PROCEDURES <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON ORDAINS AS FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION 1: A new Chapter 2.06 is hereby added to the Colton Municipal Code to read <br />in its entirety as follows: <br />"Chapter 2.06 <br />Sections: <br />2.06.010 Purpose and Intent <br />2.06.020 Closed Session Procedures <br />2.06.030 Protection of Privileged Information and Records. <br />2.06.040 Enforcement <br />2.06.050 Penalties <br />2.06.010 Purpose and Intent <br />It is the purpose and intent of this chapter to establish enforceable rules and <br />regulations relating to closed sessions of the City Council and the Redevelopment Agency <br />that will assure the confidentiality of all matters discussed and considered in such closed <br />session meetings and the confidentiality of all documents and records that may be <br />discussed in such closed sessions in a manner that is consistent with the regulations <br />imposed upon the City by the Ralph M. Brown Act (Government Code Sections 54950 <br />et =., the "Brown Act") and other applicable California law. <br />
