1 <br />2 <br />3 <br />4 <br />5 <br />6 <br />7 <br />8 <br />9 <br />10 <br />11 <br />12 <br />13 <br />14 <br />15 <br />16 <br />17 <br />18 <br />19 <br />211 <br />24 <br />25 <br />26 <br />27 <br />28 <br />ORDINANCE NO. 0-30-96 <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />COLTON AMENDING CHAPTER 2.04 OF THE COLTON <br />MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO CITY COUNCIL MEETINGS <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON ORDAINS AS FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION 1: Section 2.04.010 of Chapter 2.04 of the Colton Municipal Code is hereby <br />amended to read in its entirety as follows: <br />"2.04.010 Meetings. <br />Regular meeting of the city council shall be held in the council chambers in the City Hall <br />on the first Tuesday and third Tuesday of each month at the hour of six p.m.; provided, <br />however that whenever either the first Tuesday or third Tuesday so appointed is a legal <br />holiday, then the regular meeting of the city council shall be held in the council chambers <br />in the City Hall at the hour six p.m. on the Wednesday following that Tuesday or at such <br />other time as the city council may determine by resolution." <br />SECTION 2: If any provisions of this Ordinance or application thereof to any person <br />or circumstances is held invalid, this invalidity shall not affect other applications of this <br />Ordinance which can be given effect without the invalid provision or applications, and to this <br />end, the provisions of this Ordinance are declared to be severable. This Ordinance shall be <br />liberally construed to achieve the purposes of this Ordinance and to preserve its validity. <br />SECTION 3: The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this Ordinance and cause <br />same or a summary thereof to be published within fifteen (15) days after adoption in a <br />newspaper of general circulation, printed and published in Colton, California and the Ordinance <br />
