Severability. <br />If any section, subsection, sentence, clause, phrase or word of this <br />Ordinance is for any reason held to be invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, <br />such decision shall not affect the validity of the remaining portions of this <br />Ordinance. The City Council hereby declares that it would have passed and <br />adopted this Ordinance, and each and all provisions hereof, irrespective of the fact <br />that one or more provisions may be declared invalid. <br />Section 4. Effective Date and Posting. <br />This urgency ordinance shall be effective immediately pursuant to <br />Government Code section 36937. <br />SECTION 3: The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this <br />Ordinance and cause same or a summary thereof to be published within fifteen (15) <br />days after adoption in a newspaper of general circulation, printed and published in <br />Colton, California. <br />PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 6th day of May, _1997. <br />ATTEST: <br />Carolina P.
