"Charitable Films" shall mean Motion Pictures produced by a nonprofit <br />organization, which qualifies under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code as a <br />charitable organization. No person, directly or indirectly, shall receive a profit from the <br />marketing and production of the film or from showing the film, tapes or photos. <br />B. "Chief of Police" shall mean Chief of Police or his designee. <br />C. "City" shall mean any department or staff. <br />D. "City Manager" shall mean City Manager or his designee. <br />E. "Film Permit' is that permit required to be obtained from the city prior to <br />engaging in staging or shooting Motion Pictures within the city boundaries. <br />F. "Motion Pictures" shall mean and include all activity attendant to staging or <br />shooting commercial motion pictures, television shows or programs, video tapes, documentaries, <br />advertisements or commercials and still photography. <br />G. "News Media" shall mean the filming, televising or video taping for the purpose <br />of spontaneous, unplanned television news broadcast by reporters, photographers or cameramen. <br />H. <br />"Production Company" shall mean any entity <br />or individual <br />writing, <br />editing, <br />recording <br />or shooting Motion Pictures, Charitable Films or <br />Student Films <br />within <br />the city <br />boundaries. <br />I. "Student Films" shall mean Motion Pictures produced as part of the instructional <br />program of an accredited school or college. <br />5.38.020 Requirements. <br />2 <br />
