1 <br />2 <br />3 <br />4 <br />5 <br />6 <br />7 <br />8 <br />9 <br />10 <br />11 <br />12 <br />13 <br />14 <br />15 <br />16 <br />17 <br />18 <br />19 <br />20 <br />21 <br />22 <br />23 <br />24 <br />25 <br />26 <br />27 <br />28 <br />ORDINANCE NO. 0-10-99 <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF COLTON, CALIFORNIA, <br />AMENDING CHAPTER 5.44, TITLE 5, OF THE COLTON MUNICIPAL <br />CODE REGARDING OUTDOOR FESTIVALS AND SPECIAL EVENTS <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON DOES ORDAIN <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION 1: The title of Chapter 5.44, Title 5, of the Colton Municipal Code is <br />hereby amended as follows: <br />Chapter 5.44 <br />OUTDOOR FESTIVALS AND SPECIAL EVENTS <br />SECTION 2: Section 5.44.010, Title 5, of the Colton Municipal Code is hereby <br />amended to read as follows: <br />5.44.010 Dermed. <br />For purposes of this chapter, where the term "festival": is used singularly, it <br />shall mean an outdoor festival or special event. Likewise, where the term "event" is <br />used singularly, it shall mean an outdoor festival or special event. <br />A. "Outdoor Festival" means any music festival, dance festival, "rock" festival, or <br />similar musical activity, at which music is provided by paid or amateur performers or <br />by prerecorded means, which is held at any place other than in a permanent building or <br />permanent installation which has been constructed for the purpose of conducting such <br />activities, and to which members of the public are invited or admitted for a charge or <br />free of cost. <br />B. "Special event" means any show, entertainment, circus, carnival, dance, <br />exhibition, lecture, concert, sporting event, auction, or other similar activity to which <br />members of the public are invited or admitted for a charge of fee of cost. <br />
