1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 21 23 24 25 26 27 28 or after January 1, 1999, but on or before December 31, 1999, provided that the plan as so amended does not exceed the terms provided for in Section 33333.6; and WHEREAS, in adopting such an Ordinance, neither the legislative body or the Agency is required to comply with California Health and Safety Code Section 33354.6 or Article 12 (commencing with Section 33450 or any other provisions of this part relating to the amendment of redevelopment plans; and WHEREAS, the Redevelopment Plan for the West Valley Redevelopment Project has limitations regarding the duration of the Plan that are shorter than those limits provided for in Section 33333.6; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Colton wishes to amend that portion of the Redevelopment Plan for the West Valley Redevelopment Project pertaining to the duration of the Plan to be consistent with the limitation contained in Section 33333.6. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1 Section 610 of the Redevelopment Plan shall be amended to read as follows: "Except for the nondiscrimination and nonsegregation provisions, which shall run in perpetuity, the land use and development control provisions of this Plan as they pertain to the Original Area shall be effective, and the provisions of other documents formulated pursuant to this Plan with respect to the Original Area may be made effective, for forty (40) years from the date of the City Council's original adoption of this Plan.
