Violations of the municipal Code prosecuted by the city attomey as misdemeanor offenses shall be punishable by imprisonment in the San Bemardino Counry jail not exceeding six months, or by a fine not exceeding one thousand dollars, or by both. 8.02.050 Penalty for infraction violations. Violations prosecuted by the city attomey as infractions shall be punishable to the extent I permitted by law, as established by resolution of the ciry council. An infraction shall not be I punishable by imprisonment. I 8.02.060 Waiver of rights in infraction prosecutions.
