DT - 43 -01. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Colton (the "City Council") held a duly noticed public hearing on August 21, 2001, after giving published notice, of amendments to Sections 18.18.130(A), 18.20.130(A), 18.22.130(A), 18.24.130(A), 18.26.130(A) and 18.28.130(A) of the Colton Municipal Code relating to landscaping requirements (the "Zone Text Amendment"); and WT -AREAS, on July 24, 2001, the Planning Commission of the City of Colton ("Planning Commission") also conducted a duly noticed public hearing on the Zone Text Amendment at which time all persons wishing to testify in connection with the Zone Text Amendment were heard and the Zone Test Amendment was comprehensively reviewed and recommended for approval; and WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that the Zone Text Amendment is consistent with the City of Colton General Plan as indicated below; and WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that the proposed Zone Text Amendment is in the best interests of the City, promotes the public health, safety and welfare of the community and would be in the public interest to approve the Zone Text Amendment; W]HEREAS, the Application was reviewed, studied, and found exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act ("CEQX') as more fully described below; and V4 AREAS, all other legal prerequisites to the adoption of this Ordinance have I occurred. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON: SECTION 1. Sections 18.18.130(A), 18.20.130(A), 18.22.130(A), 18.24.130(A), 18.26.130(A) and 18.28.130(A) of the Colton Municipal Code are hereby amended to read as follows: RVPUB529585
