1 <br />2 ORDINANCE NO. 0-10-03 <br />3 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF COLTON <br />AMENDING CHAPTER 2.04 OF THE COLTON MUNICIPAL CODE <br />4 CHANGING THE TIME OF THE REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETINGS <br />5 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON DOES ORDAIN AS <br />6 FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION 1. Section 2.04.010 of Chapter 2.04 of the Colton Municipal Code <br />7 is hereby deleted in its entirety and restated to read as follows: <br />8 "Regular meeting of the city council shall be held in the council chambers in <br />the City Hall on the first Tuesday and third Tuesday of each month. The <br />9 closed session portion of the meeting shall begin at 5:00 p.m. The open <br />session portion of the meeting shall begin at 6:00 p.m. Whenever either the <br />10 first Tuesday or third Tuesday so appointed is a legal holiday, then the regular <br />11 meeting of the city council shall be held in the council chambers in the City <br />Hall, beginning at 5:00 p.m. for closed session and at 6:00 p.m. for open <br />12 session, on the Wednesday following that Tuesday, or at such other time as <br />the city council may determine by resolution." <br />13 SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this Ordinance <br />14 and cause the same or a summary thereof to be published within fifteen (15) days after <br />adoption in a newspaper of general circulation, printed and published in Colton, California, <br />15 and the Ordinance shall take effect thirty (30) days after its enactment with the provisions of <br />California law. <br />16 <br />PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 17th day of June, 2003. <br />17 <br />1819 <br />KELLY YCHASTAIN, Mayor Pro Tempore <br />20 <br />21 ATTES <br />22 <br />2311 CAROLINA P.
