The reasons for the proposed annexation are for the purpose <br />of acquiring City services; especially water and sewer lines. <br />f. The Clerk of the City of Colton is hereby directed to advertise <br />the proposed annexation for public hearing on February 18, 1986, at <br />7:30 p.m., in the Council Chambers. <br />g. Any interested person desiring to make written protest aqainst <br />said annexation shall do so by written communication filed with the <br />Clerk of the City of Colton not later than the hour above stated for <br />the public hearing. A written protest by a landowner shall contain a <br />description sufficient to identify the land owned by him; a protest <br />by a voter shall contain the residential address of such voter. <br />h. The Clerk of the City of Colton is authorized and instructed <br />to publish the notice of hearing according to Section 35223 of the <br />California Government Code. <br />PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 18th day of February, 1986. <br />ATTEST: <br />HELEN A.
