R-139-86 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF <br />THE CITY OF COLTON, CALIFORNIA, A.P- <br />PROV ING Ar r E'AL FILED BY STA'G'E IRON AND <br />METAL AND S & A RAIL DISMANTLING FOR <br />SOUTHERN PACIFIC ON FILE INDEX NUMBER <br />C-5-86. <br />WHEREAS, the applicant on File Number C-5-86 did request an <br />appeal of Planning Commission decision to deny his project; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council did give notice of the public <br />{Hearing, as required by law; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council did hold a Public Hearing and <br />considered the appeal of Conditional Use Permit Number C-5-86; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the applicant did resolve to the Council's satisfac- <br />tion the issues raised by the Planning Commission; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council, having studied and researched <br />such appeal, makes the following findings: <br />1. The proposal is consistent with the base zoning if <br />granted the CUP. <br />The proposal is consistent with the General Plan since <br />the project is consistent with the base zoning. <br />3. The project is compatible with the surrounding uses. <br />4. The project has been found to warrant a Negative <br />Declaration if conditions of approval are required and <br />met. <br />NOW, therefore, be it resolved that the City Council does <br />hereby approve File Index Number C-5-86, a request by State <br />iron and Metal and S & A Rail Dismantling for Southern Pacific <br />Railroad, subject to the following conditions of approval: <br />
