R-155-86 <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />COLTON, CALIFORNIA, ORDERING THE ABANDONMENT <br />OF A ROAD EASEMENT. <br />BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Colton <br />as follows: <br />SECTION 1. The City Council of the City of Colton having <br />elected to proceed under the provisions of Chapter 4, Section 8330 <br />Df the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California, and <br />having held a public hearing, hereby finds from all the evidence <br />submitted as follows: <br />A. That the sixty foot wide road easement in Parcel 7, <br />f Parcel Map 117799 recorded in Map Book 84, Pages 5-7, official <br />ecords of San Bernardino County, more particularly described as <br />follows: <br />Beginning at the Northwest corner of Parcel 7 as des- <br />cribed above; thence N89 28'27"E 388.93 feet to the <br />West right-of-way line of Wildrose Avenue; thence <br />Southerly along the West right-of-way Wildrose Avenue <br />a length of 66.87 feet; thence S89 28127"W a distance <br />of 418.40 feet to the West line of Parcel 7 of said <br />Parcel Map 117799; thence Northerly along the West <br />line of Parcel 7 to the point of beginning. <br />20 Itis unnecessary for present or prospective public street purposes and <br />21 the public interest and convenience requires the closing of said <br />22 street. <br />23 B. That the date of dedication is less than five years <br />24 and more than one year, immediately preceding the proposed <br />25 vacation, and the easement was not used continuously since that <br />26 date. <br />27 C. The easement has been superseded by relocation and <br />28 here are no other public facilities located within the easement. <br />
