R-157-86 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF COLTON, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING THE <br />TRANSFER OF THE FRANCHISE OF COLTON CABLEVISION <br />INC. TO AMERICAN CABLE TV INVESTORS 4, LTD., <br />A COLORADO LIMITED PARTNERSHIP. <br />WHEREAS, on the 4th day of March, 1980, Ordinance No. 1578 <br />was adopted whereby a franchise ("the franchise") was issued to <br />Buena Vista Cable TV of Colton, Inc., to construct, operate and <br />maintain a cable television system within those portions of the in- <br />corporated limits of the City of Colton; and <br />WHEREAS, Buena Vista Cable TV of Colton, Inc., thereafter <br />changed its name to Colton Cablevision, Inc.; and <br />WHEREAS, Colton Cablevision, Inc., has requested that the <br />franchise be transferred to American Cable TV Investors 4, Ltd., a <br />Colorado Limited Partnership (the "Partnership"); the partnership <br />agrees to comply with all requirements of the franchise pending its <br />amendment as may be mutually agreed; and <br />WHEREAS, upon notice duly given, a public hearing was con- <br />ducted October 7, 1986, by the City Council of the City of Colton. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF COLTON AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. The City hereby approves of and consents to <br />the transfer, assignment and conveyance of the Franchise and System <br />to the Partnership. <br />Section 2. The City hereby approves of and consents to the <br />creation of security interests in and the encumbrance of the <br />IlFranchise and the System in order to secure indebtedness to be <br />
