R-18-86 <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF <br />THE CITY OF COLTON DENYING APPEAL <br />FILED BY ADAMS ADVERTISING, INC. <br />ON INDEX NO. V-4-85. <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Colton, <br />by and through its Resolution No. 2068, denied Variance applica- <br />tion Index No. V-4-85, Adams Advertising, Inc., and such action <br />was appealed to the City Council; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed said application <br />and the Resolution of the Planning Commission relating thereto <br />in full and is familiar with the contents thereof; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council gave notice of public hearing <br />on Appeal filed by Adams Advertising, Inc., as required by law; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council did hold said Public Hearing <br />on March 4, 1986, to consider Appeal. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON <br />does hereby find, resolve, determine and order as follows: <br />1. The applicant has failed to show that the require- <br />ments of the Colton Zoning Ordinance for the grant- <br />ing of a Variance have been met. <br />2. There are no special circumstances applicable to <br />the property which warrant a Variance. <br />3. The property is not deprived of privileges allowed <br />by other property in the vicinity and under identi- <br />cal zoning. <br />4. The project is in direct conflict with the General <br />Plan. <br />
