R-182-86 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF COLTON APPROVING REFINANCING AND <br />FINANCING OF A PORTION OF THE SANTA ANA <br />RIVER REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT BY THE <br />REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY FOR THE CITY OF <br />COLTON <br />WHEREAS, the Redevelopment Agency for the City of <br />Colton (the "Agency") is authorized pursuant to Chapter 8 (com- <br />mencing with Section 33000) of Part 1 of Division 24 of the <br />California Health and Safety Code (the "Act") to issue bonds for <br />any of its corporate purposes; and <br />WHEREAS, the Agency has heretofore issued $3,500,000 <br />aggregate principal amount of its Santa Ana River Redevelopment <br />Project 1985 Tax Allocation Bonds (the 111985 Bonds"); and <br />WHEREAS, the Agency, in order to provide financing for <br />its Santa Ana River Redevelopment Project (the "Project"), has <br />indicated its intention to issue $5,000,000 aggregate principal <br />amount of Santa Ana River Redevelopment Project 1987 Tax Alloca- <br />tion and Refunding Bonds (the "Bonds"), the proceeds of which <br />shall be used to refund the 1985 Bonds and finance certain pub- <br />lic improvements forming part of the Project; and <br />WHEREAS, notice of a public hearing to be conducted by <br />this City Council with respect to the proposed financing of the <br />Project by the Agency was duly published at least 10 days prior <br />to December 16, 1986 in a newspaper of general circulation in <br />the City of Colton, which notice set 7:30 p.m. on December 16, <br />1986 and the City Council chambers as the time and place for <br />said hearing; and <br />
