R-184-86 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF COLTON, DESIGNATING AND EXEMPTING CERTAIN <br />BOARDS, COMMISSIONS AND COMMITTEES FOR COM- <br />PLIANCE TO AB 2674, AMENDMENT TO THE BROWN ACT <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has created a number of Boards <br />Commissions and Committees; and <br />WHEREAS, AB 2674 adds specific requirements to the open <br />meeting law, the Brown Act; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that AB 2674 <br />applies to certain Boards, Commissions, and Committees and does <br />not apply to all Boards, Commissions, and Committes. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION 1. That the following Boards, Commissions and <br />Committees are hereby expressly designated and directed <br />to comply with the Brown Act, as amended by AB 2674: <br />a. Planning Commission, Ordinance No. 1344, 1969. <br />b. Recreation & Parks Commission, Ordinance No. 1104, <br />1961. <br />C. Cemetery Commission, Ordinance No. 1126, 1962. <br />d. Redevelopment Agency, Ordinance No. 1120, 1962; <br />Ordinance No. 1398, 1972. <br />e. Utilities Commission, Ordinance No. 1524, 1977. <br />f. Civil Service Commission, Ordinance No. 1122, 1962. <br />g. Housing Advisory & Appeals Board, Resolution No. <br />3380, 1973. <br />
