RESOLUTION NO. R-40-86 1 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF 2 COLTON APPROVING THE GRANT AMENDMENT AGREEMENT PERTAINING TO THE 1983-84 BLOCK GRANT IMPLEMENTA- 3 TION PERIOD, GRANT NO. 83-STBG-077, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO SIGN SAID AGREEMENT ACCEPTING AN 4 EXTENSION AND AUTHORIZING SUBMITTAL OF SAID AGREE- MENT TO THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA DEPARTMENT OF HOUS- 5 ING AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT. 6 7 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Colton 8 approved the Community Development Housing Rehabilitation 9 Activities by adoption of Resolution No. 4446, dated April 3, 10 1984; and WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to implement said 11 12 Housing Rehabilitation Activities; and 13 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Colton has 14 authorized an extension of the Grant implementation period to December 31, 1986. 15 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council 16 of the City of Colton accepts the terms and conditions of the 17 Grant Amendment Agreement. 18 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council of the 19 City of Colton authorizes the City Manager to sign the Grant 20 Amendment Agreement for an extension to the grant implementation 21 period and to submit said Agreement to the State of California 22 Department of Housing and Community Development. 23 PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 1st day of April, 24 1986. 25 26ALBERT A.
