RESOLUTION NO. R-49-86 <br />11 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF COLTON PRIORITIZING THE TYPES OF PRO- <br />JECTS TO BE FUNDED BY COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT <br />BLOCK GRANT FUNDS FOR FY 86-87 <br />3 <br />4 Whereas, the City Council of the City of Colton elected to enter <br />5 into an agreement with the County of San Bernardino in order to receive <br />6 Community Development Block Gant Funds; and, <br />7 WHEREAS, as a co-operating city the City of Colton will receive <br />8 $153,324 to $187,503 in Community Development Block Grant Funds for FY <br />9 86-87; and, <br />10 UHEREAS, the City must inform the County as to which eligible pro - <br />11 jects will be funded with these funds. <br />12 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City <br />13 of Colton prioritizes projects in the following order: <br />14 ! 1. Economic Development Study for the La Cadena Drive Corridor south <br />15 of Interstate 10 to Fogg Street. <br />2. Contingency fund -- suggested use -- South LaCadena Corridor <br />16 Beautification for area south of I-10 and north of Fogg Street. <br />17 To be combined with last year's contingency funds (approximately <br />$24,750.00). <br />18 3. Vector Control sponsored by the County Environmental Health <br />19 Services Agency. 2nd year funding. <br />20 4. Elevator for Colton Museum. <br />21 5. Annual contribution to the AMIGA program. <br />22 6. Purchase of fire truck. Total cost estimated $165,000.
