R-52-86 <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON <br />AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. R-37-86. <br />WHEREAS, the City Council by Resolution No. R-37-86, based on good <br />faith reliance, approved salary range 26.0, Exhibits A and B, for <br />administrative secretarial and related classes in the Management Confidential <br />Unit, and; <br />WHEREAS, the City Council is now aware of "a mistake of fact" in <br />the interpretation of the Ralph Andersen and Associates Compensation Study <br />data, the City Council wishes to amend said Resolution No. R-37-86 to be <br />consistent with the 1986 Memorandum of Understanding with said Unit and to <br />adjust the salary schedules accordingly. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLaJS: <br />The salary schedules, Exhibits A and B, for the administrative secretarial <br />and related classes within the Management Confidential Unit are revised to <br />reflect the correct and appropriate total compensation salary range, shown <br />in attached Exhibit 1, for the affected positions; <br />IT IS FURTHER RESOLVED that the incumbents of the positions referred <br />to in Exhibit 1 shall henceforth be paid as shown in Exhibit 1 Step E; <br />IT IS FURTHER RESOLVED that in the event that any such mentioned <br />position becomes vacant, a new incumbent would be employed at salary range <br />26.2 or the then designated salary range for an Administrative Secretary <br />or Deputy City Clerk; <br />IT IS FURTHER RESOLVED that this amendment is effective on adoption <br />and mends and sunerceds Resolution No. R-37-86 where inconsistent therewith. <br />
