R-89-86 <br />`l. <br />3 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />4 OF THE CITY OF COLTON APPROVING <br />5 AND ADOPTING THE ANNUAL APPRO- <br />6 PRIATIONS LIMIT FOR THE FISCAL <br />7 YEAR 1986-87. <br />8 <br />9 <br />10 WHEREAS, the voters of California, on November 6, <br />11 <br />12 1979, added Article XIII -B to the State Constitution placing <br />13 <br />14 various limitations on the appropriations of the state and local <br />15 <br />16 governments; and <br />17 <br />18 WHEREAS, Article XIII -B provides that the appro- <br />19 <br />20 priations limit for the fiscal year 1986-87 is calculated by <br />21 <br />22 adjusting the base year appropriations of fiscal year 1978-79 <br />2.3 <br />24 for changes in the cost of living and population; and <br />25 <br />26 WHEREAS, the City of Colton has complied with <br />27 <br />28 all the provisions of Article XIII -B in determining the appro- <br />29 <br />30 priations limit for fiscal year 1986-87. <br />31. <br />32 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the appro- <br />33 <br />34 priations subject to limitation in fiscal year 1986-87 shall <br />35 <br />36 be $11,769,149 for the City of Colton. <br />37 <br />38 PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 17th day of <br />39 <br />40 June 1986. <br />41 <br />42 <br />43 <br />44 <br />45 <br />46 ALBERT A.
