R-114-87 <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON <br />ORDERING THE ABANDONMENT OF A PORTION OF CONGRESS <br />STREET BETWEEN LYTLE CREEK CHANNEL AND MT. VERNON AVENUE <br />BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Colton <br />as follows: <br />Section 1. The City Council of the City of Colton <br />having elected to proceed u <br />et. seq. of the Streets and <br />California, and having held <br />hereby finds from all the e <br />Congress Street as shown on <br />of Maps at Page 14, records <br />more particularly described <br />nder the provisions of Section 8300 <br />Highway Code of the State of <br />a public hearing as provided therein, <br />vidences submitted that the portion of <br />Tract Map No. 2433 on file in Book 35 <br />of San Bernardino County, California <br />as follows: <br />Beginning at the Southwest corner of Lot 7 of said <br />Tract No. 2433 also being the Southeast corner of Lot <br />6, Block 31 of Raynor's Re -Subdivision of Block 31 of <br />the Lands of the Colton Land and Water Company as <br />shown by map on file in Book 17 of Maps at Page 33, <br />Records of San Bernardino County, California; Thence <br />N8903814911E, along the South line of said Lot 7 also <br />being the North line of said Congress Street a dis- <br />of 547.08 feet; thence S00°21'11"E, a distance of <br />33.00 feet to a point on the centerline of said <br />Congress Street; thence S89°3814911W. along said <br />centerline of Congress Street a distance of 663.58 <br />feet; thence Northeasterly on a non -tangent curve <br />concave to the Northwest, having a radius of 694.00 <br />feet; through an angle of 03045100" an arc length <br />of 45.42 feet to a point on the South line of said <br />Lot 6 also being said North line of Congress Street <br />(the initial radial line bears S45 0415611E); thence <br />8903814911E along said South line of Lots 6 also <br />being said North line of Congress Street a distance <br />of 85.30 feet to the point of beginning. <br />is unnecessary for present or prospective public street purposes <br />and the public interest and convenience requires the closing of <br />
