R-132-87 <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />COLTON EMPLOYING BOND COUNSEL FOR COMMUNITY <br />FACILITIES DISTRICT NO. 87-1 <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Colton (the <br />"City Council ") has adopted a resolution of intention to estab- <br />lish a proposed community facilties district to be known as <br />7 "Community Facilities District No. 87-1 of the City of Colton, <br />BIiCounty of San Bernardino, State of California" pursuant to <br />9 III Cha ter 2.5 <br />p (commencing with §53312), Part 1, Division 2, Title <br />101',5 of the California Governement Code; and <br />1111 WHEREAS the City Council has determined that it is <br />12 <br />13 <br />14 <br />15 <br />16 <br />17 <br />18 <br />19 <br />20 <br />21 <br />22 <br />23 <br />24 <br />25 <br />26 <br />27 <br />28 <br />necessary that the City employ attorneys to prepare and assist <br />the City in completing the proceedings for the formation of the <br />proposed community facilities district and the issuance and the <br />sale of the bonds thereof, and to act as Bond Counsel in connec- <br />tion with the issuance and sale of such bonds; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AND ORDERED BY THE CITY <br />COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section <br />1. <br />Best, <br />Best and Krieger <br />is hereby <br />employed <br />as Bond Counsel <br />to <br />prepare <br />and supervise the <br />proceedings <br />for the <br />establishment of proposed Community Facilities District No. 87-1 <br />and for the issuance and sale of bonds thereof, and to perform <br />the services set forth in the letter proposal from such firm <br />dated October 15, 1987. Said attorneys shall be compensated for <br />their services as set forth in said letter proposal. <br />Section 2. The Mayor is authorized to sign on behalf <br />of the City and return to said attorneys a copy of their said <br />
