R-137-87 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON, DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO ORDER THE ABANDONMENT OF 12.00 FEET NORTH OF COOLEY DRIVE (BIKE PATH) BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Colton as follows: SECTION 1. That the City Council of the City of Colton does hereby declare its intention to order the abandonment of all that portion of that certain 12.00 feet north of Cooley Drive being that portion of vacated Cooley Drive West (formerly 72.00 feet wide and now 60.00 feet wide) as conveyed to the City of Colton per deed recorded in Book 8596, Page 408 official records of San Bernardino County, State of California described as follows: Commencing at the centerline intersection of Mt. Vernon Avenue (120.00 feet wide) and said Cooley Drive West; thence South 89 37'03" West, 85.03 feet along the said centerline of Cooley Drive west; thence North 0 22157" West, 24.00 feet to a point that is 60.00 feet North, measured at right angles, from the South line of said Cooley Drive West, said point being also the true point of be_ginning; thence South 89 37'03" West, 461r66__fee1- o t1 eebeginning of a curve concave Northeasterly and having a radius of 50.00 feet, a radial line through said point bears South 41 53'10" West, thence Northwesterly along said curve, through a central angle of 09 24131", a distance of 8.21 feet to a point of cusp with a curve concave Northerly and having a radius of 50.00 feet, a radial line through said point bears North 32 28'36119 a distance of 28.68 feet along said Northerly line; thence North 89 37'03" East, 477.05 feet along the said North line to the beginning of a curve concave North- westerly and having a radius of 25.00 feet; thence Northeasterly along said curve, through a central angle of 90 0211011, a distance of 39.29 feet to a point of cusp with the West line prolongation of said Mt. Vernon Avenue; thence South 0 25'07" East, 12.00 feet along said West line prolongation to the beginning of a curve concave Northwesterly and having a radius of 25.00 feet; thence Southwesterly along said curve, through a central angle of 90 0211011, a distance of 39.29 feet to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING.
