R-140-87 ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 84-1 (Crossroads Trade Centre) RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON EMPLOYING BOND COUNSEL WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Colton, California ("this City Council") proposes to form an assess- ment district for the acquisition of certain public improve- ments and the acquisition of necessary land, easements and rights-of-way, together with appurtenances and appurtenant work and incidental costs and expenses in connection there- with, pursuant to the provisions of Division 12 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California, commonly known as the "Municipal Improvement Act of 1913," with bonds to be issued to fund and finance said improve- ments pursuant to the bond terms of the "Improvement Bond Act of 1915," being Division 10 of said Code, in a special assessment district known and designated as Assessment District No. 84-1 (Crossroads Trade Centre) ("Assessment District"); and WHEREAS, it is desirable to employ bond counsel to prepare the proceedings and supervise the conduct of same; and WHEREAS, Best, Best & Krieger are attorneys specially trained and experienced in that type of practice and have submitted a written agreement covering their bond counsel services on said legal matters to this City Council. 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 W o " 13 U'Wipm W 0 Q > a WY„`oM O 14 0C5 0 W m W RR oNm>r 15 3 mi�0 tri ° J F 0 0 0” 16 W 1 0 X m 0 > rc 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 RESOLUTION NO.
