R-20-87 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF COLTON FOR EXPENDITURE OF <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA PUBLIC LIBRARY <br />FUNDS FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1986-87. <br />WHEREAS, the City of Colton has received $30,878.00 in <br />grant monies from the State of California Public Library Fund; and <br />WHEREAS, these monies are to be used to enhance the opera - <br />ion of the local library system; and <br />WHEREAS, the Colton Library Board of Trustees recommends <br />he purchase of a Anti -Theft Library Book Detection System to alle- <br />iate the unlawful removal of library books. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that $15,000.00 of the <br />tate of California Public Library Funds be appropriated to Account <br />01-8001-43 to purchase a Library Book Detection System for the City <br />f Colton Public Library. <br />PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 3rd day of March, 1987. <br />kTTEST: <br />ELEN A.
