R- 35-87 <br />WEED ABATEMENT, FINDING, DETERMINING AND <br />DECLARING INSUFFICIENT OBJECTIONS OR PRO- <br />TESTS TO THE REMOVAL OF PUBLIC NUISANCE <br />WHEREAS, a Resolution was adopted by the City Council of <br />the City of Colton, California on the 17th day of March, 1987, <br />declaring weeds growing upon streets or sidewalks or upon private <br />property and rubbish, refuse or dirt upon parkways, sidewalks or <br />private property within the City of Colton to be a Public Nuisance <br />and providing for the abatement therefore; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Clerk was directed to cause to be <br />mailed to the owners of the property on which or in front of <br />which such nuisance exists in accordance with the Weed Abatement <br />Law (Chapter 13, Title 4, Division 3, Government Code and <br />amendments thereto) of the State of California; and <br />WHEREAS, said notices have been mailed in accordance <br />with said act as set forth in the affidavit of the City Clerk <br />on file in her office; and <br />WHEREAS, said Resolution and notices fixed, determined <br />and declared that a hearing would be held on the 7th day of April <br />1937 in the Council Chambers in the Civic Center, Colton, Califor- <br />nia at the hour of 7:30 p.m. of said day, at which time any persona <br />having any objections or protests to make concerning the removal <br />and destruction of said weeds, rubbish, refuse or dirt may appear <br />and be heard; and <br />WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed in such notice a <br />hearing was duly held by this City Council and all persons desirinj <br />to be heard thereon were heard and the City Council gave all <br />
