R - 42 - 87 <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF COLTON PRIORTIZATING THE TYPES OF PRO- <br />JECTS TOBE FUNDED BY COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT <br />BLOCK GRANT FUNDS FOR FY. 87 - 88. <br />WHEREAS, the City of Colton elected to enter into an agree- <br />ment with the County of San Bernardino in order to receive Community <br />Development Block Grant funds; and, <br />WHEREAS, as a co-operation city the City of Colton will receive <br />$187,503. in Community Development Block Grant funds for fiscal Year 87-88 <br />WHEREAS, the city must inform the County as to which eligible pro- <br />jects will be funded with these funds. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BEIT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City <br />of Colton prioritizes projects in the following order: <br />1. $111,253. for Urban Beautification Capital improvements for South <br />La Cadena Corridor. <br />2. $20,000. for implementing computerized mapping project. <br />3. $17,500. for curb and gutter improvements along South Fifth and <br />Congress Streets. <br />4. $2q,OOO for Senior Citizen Outreach Program. <br />5. $18,750. for Contingency fund.
