R-62-87 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF COLTON, CALIFORNIA, <br />DETERMINING THE AMOUNT TO BE ADDED TO ANNUAL <br />INSTALLMENTS ON ASSESSMENTS IN ASSESSMENT DISTRICTS <br />NOS. 72-1, 76-1, 78-2 AND 79-1 FOR FISCAL YEAR <br />1987-88 TO COVER EXPENSES OF COLLECTION. <br />WHEREAS, there are in the City of Colton the following <br />Assessment Districts: Nos. 72-1, 76-1, 78-2 and 79--1; and <br />WHEREAS, Section 8682 of the Streets and Highways Code <br />of the State of Cali.fornia authorized the City Council of the <br />City of Colton (the "Council") to add to the annual installment <br />of principal and interest on the assessment on each lot or par- <br />cel of land in each assessment district in the City, an amount to <br />cover the City's expenses of collection. <br />WHEREAS, the City Tr-asurer of the City of Colton (the <br />"treasurer") has estimated that for fiscal year 1987-32 the ex- <br />penses of such collection will be three dollars ($3.00) or more <br />for every lot and parcel of land. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. The Council finds it to be true that the expenses of <br />the City for such collection in fiscal year 1987-88 will be three <br />dollars ($3.00) or more, per lot or parcel and that the City <br />Treasurer has so estiamted. <br />2. The Council does hereby determine and direct that <br />there shall be added to the annual installment_ of principal and <br />interest on the assessment on each lot and parcel in each of the <br />above mentioned Assessment Districts the amount of three dollars <br />
