Ratification of Housing Program. The <br />City hereby acknowledges the prior adoption of Ordinance <br />No. 1663 on May 23, 1984, pursuant to Health and Safety Code <br />Section 52013(a), and hereby ratifies the Program as adopted <br />pursuant thereto, and hereby incorporates by reference said <br />Ordinance No. 1663 and readopts said Program pursuant to this <br />Resolution as of the date hereof which adoption shall be deemed <br />final and conclusive as to the Program being a program of the <br />City. <br />SECTION 12. Requisitions. The City Manager, or his <br />designee, is hereby authorized and directed to execute one or <br />more requisitions authorizing the Trustee to pay the costs of <br />issuing the Bonds from the proceeds of the Bonds and the moneys, <br />if any, deposited by the City with the Trustee for such purpose, <br />all pursuant to the Trust Indenture. <br />SECTION 13. Bond Counsel. The law firm of Best, <br />Best & Krieger is hereby retained as Bond Counsel to the City in <br />connection with the execution and delivery of the Bonds and the <br />City Manager is hereby authorized to execute an agreement with <br />said firm for such services. <br />SECTION 14. Filing of CDAC Notice. The City hereby <br />approves the filing by Bond Counsel of a notice of the City's <br />intent to sell the Bonds with the California Debt Advisory <br />Commission pursuant to Section 8855 of the California Government <br />Code. <br />SECTION 15. Other Acts. The officers and staff of <br />the City are hereby authorized and directed, jointly and sever- <br />-7- <br />
