R-80-87 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF <br />THE CITY OF COLTON AMENDING <br />RESOLUTION NO. R-94-86, THE APPOINTMENT <br />OF FRANK BENEST AS COLTON CITY MANAGER AND <br />RESOLUTION NO. R-66-87 ESTABLISHING A PAY <br />AND CLASSIFICATION PLAN FOR EXECUTIVE EMPLOYEES. <br />WHEREAS, by Resolution No. R-94-86 adopted June 17, 1986, the City <br />Council appointed Frank Benest as Colton City Manager; and <br />Wi-IEREAS, by Resolution No. R-66-87, adopted June 2, 1987, the City <br />Council of the City of Colton established a Pay and Classification Plan for <br />Executive Employees; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Colton wishes to amend <br />the above Resolutions. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Colton resolves as <br />follows: <br />1. That the Job Classification Lists and Monthly Payroll Schedule <br />below be incorporated into and made part hereof, and shall be effective as <br />of December 27, 1986. <br />Salary Salary <br />Classification Schedule Range A B C D E <br />City Manager 8 7.0 4262 4476 4699 4934 5181 <br />2. That effective July 7, 1987, Frank Benest's salary be fixed at <br />"D" step. <br />3. That Frank Benest, City Manager, shall have the equivalent of <br />58 of his gross salary placed in deferred compensation in addition to the <br />normal City contribution. <br />4. That Frank Benest, City Manager, receive all other benefits <br />afforded Executive Unit a ployees. <br />5. That in the event Frank Benest is involuntarily terminated, <br />he shall receive all salary and benefits for a period of ninety (90) days. <br />
