RESOLUTION NO. R-82-87 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />OF THE CITY OF COLTON APPROVING <br />AND ADOPTING THE ANNUAL APPRO- <br />PRIATIONS LIMIT FOR THE FISCAL <br />YEAR 1987-88. <br />WHEREAS, the voters of California, on November 6, <br />1979, added Article XIII -B to the State Constitution placing <br />various limitations on the appropriations of the state and local <br />governments; and <br />WHEREAS, Article XIII -B provides that the appro- <br />priations limit for the fiscal year 1987-88 is calculated by <br />adjusting the base year appropriations of fiscal year 1978-79 <br />for changes in the cost of living and population; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Colton has complied with <br />all the provisions of Article XIII -B in determining the appro- <br />priations limit for fiscal year 1987-88. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the appro- <br />priations subject to limitation in fiscal year 1987-88 shall <br />be $13,811,092 for the City of Colton. <br />PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 30th day of <br />,lune 1987. <br />Mayor' --J US <br />ATTEST: <br />A A: t.
