R-98-87 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON ORDERING THE ABANDONMENT OF THE ALLEY WAY NORTH OF "C" STREET AND WEST OF PENNSYLVANIA AVENUE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Colton as follows: Section 1. The City Council of the City of Colton having elected to proceed under the provisions of Section 8300 et. seq. of the Streets and Highway Code of the State of California, and having held a public hearing as provided therein, hereby finds from all the evidences submitted that the portion of the Alley Way north of "C" Street and west of Pennsylvania Avenue as shown on the Map of Archibalds Addition to the Town of Colton, as per Map recorded in Book 5 of Maps, Page 19 and Re-Subidivision of Lots 3-11, Archibald Addition as per Map recorded in Book 18 of Maps, Page 1, int he office of the County Recorder of San Bernardino County, State of California, more particularly describe as follows: Beginning at the Southwest corner of Lot 9 of said Re -Subdivision of Lots 3-11, Archibald Addition; thence along the South line of said Lot 9, South 89 55'33" East, a distance of 15.00 feet to the North- west corner of Lot 2 of said Archibalds Addition to the Town of Colton, South 00 00'27" East a distance of 103.80 feet' thence South 43 17156" west a distance of 17.51 feet to an intersection with the East line of Lot 12 of said Archibalds Addition to the Town of Colton; thence along the East line of said Lot 121 North 00 00127" West, a distance of 96.56 feet to the Northeast corner of said Lot 12, thence along the North line of said Lot 12, North 89 55'53" West, a distance of 3.00 feet to an intersection with the Southerly prolongation of the West line of said Lot 9 of Re -Subdivision of Lots 3-11, Archibald Addition; thence along the Southerly prolongation of the West line of said Lot 9, North 00 00'31" West, a distance of 20.00 feet to the point of beginning.
