R-9-88 <br />3 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />COLTON, CALIFORNIA, ORDERING THE CANVASS OF THE <br />4 SPECIAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION TO BE HELD ON TUESDAY, <br />FEBRUARY 9, 1988, BE MADE BY THE CITY CLERK. <br />5 <br />WHEREAS, a Special Municipal Election will be held and <br />6 <br />conducted in the City of Colton, California, on Tuesday, February 9, <br />7 <br />1988, as required by law; and <br />8 <br />WHEREAS, the City Council desires the canvass of the <br />9 <br />election to be made by the City Clerk; <br />10 <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON, <br />11 <br />ALIFORNIA, DOES RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE AND ORDER AS FOLLOWS: <br />12 <br />SECTION 1. That pursuant to Section 22932.5 of the <br />13 <br />Elections Code of the State of California, the canvass of the Specia: <br />14 <br />Municipal Election to be held is ordered to be made by the City Clerl <br />15 <br />SECTION 2. That the City Clerk shall complete the canvas <br />16 <br />f the election prior to February 12, 1988, and shall certify the re - <br />17 <br />sults to the City Council on February 16, 1988. <br />18 <br />SECTION 3.
