1 <br />2 <br />3 <br />4 <br />5 <br />6 <br />7 <br />8 <br />9 <br />10 <br />11 <br />12 <br />13 <br />14 <br />15 <br />16 <br />17 <br />18 <br />19 <br />20 <br />21 <br />22 <br />23 <br />24 <br />25 <br />?,6 <br />27 <br />28 <br />RESOLUTION NUMBER R-115-88 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF COLTON, APPROVING THE APPLICATION AND THE <br />PROJECT AGREEMENT FOR HISTORY AND ARCHEOLOGY <br />GRANT FUNDS FOR RESTORATION OF THE OLD SANTA <br />FE DEPOT FROM THE CALIFORNIA WILDLIFE, <br />COASTAL, AND PARK LAND CONSERVATION ACT OF <br />1988 <br />WHEREAS, the people of California under the California Wildlife, <br />coastal, and Park Land Conservation Act of 1988 has authorized <br />the establishment of a HistorV and Archeologv Grant Proqram, <br />Providinq funds to the political subdivisions of the State and to <br />non-profit organizations for the preservation of significant <br />historical and archeoloqical resources; and <br />WHEREAS, the Office of Historic Preservation is responsible for <br />the administration of the proqram within the State, settinq up <br />neccessarV rules and procedures qoverninq application bV local <br />aqencies under the proqram; and <br />WHEREAS, said adopted procedures established bV the Office of <br />Historic Preservation require the applicant to certifV bV <br />resolution the approval of applications prior to submission of <br />said applications to the State; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City <br />of Colton hereby: <br />1. Approve the filinq of an application for the HistorV <br />and ArcheologV Grant assistance for project; and <br />2. Authorizes the City Manaqer as aqent of the City to <br />coordinate, process, and execute all contract, <br />agreement, amendments, and ancillary documents within <br />the scope of the attached application; and <br />
