R-20-88 <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF COLTON SUPPORTING CRIME RESISTANCE <br />GRANT APPLICATION <br />WHEREAS the City of Colton Police Department desires to <br />undertake a certain project known as the "Crime Resistance <br />Action Project" to be funded in part from the California Crime <br />Resistance Program, administered by the Office of Criminal Justice <br />Planning (hereafter referred to as OCJP). <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Manager of <br />the City of Colton is authorized, on its behalf, to submit a <br />grant application to OCJP and is authorized to execute on behalf <br />of the City of Colton the Grant Award including any extensions or <br />amendments thereof. <br />BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Colton agrees to provide <br />all matching funds required for said project under the Community <br />Crime Resistance Program and the rules and regulations of OCJP <br />and that cash will be appropriated as required thereby. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that grant funds received <br />hereunder shall not be used to supplant expenditures controlled <br />by this body. <br />ADOPTED March 15 1988. <br />FATTEST: <br />LEN A RAMOS, CMC <br />City Clerk <br />FRANK A.
